Its Fireworks Time!

Its that time once again, where I submit some of my old work to the TWIP photo contest. These photos below, were actually my very first attempt at shooting fireworks only after reading a few tips online from avid photographers. I found that shooting fireworks is not as difficult as one may think. This year, it just so happened to rain on my parade and I was unable to shoot fireworks. Below are my 2007 July 4 shots. The first one is the best and the one I submitted to the contest.

I have placed these in order from right to left, best to mediocre. I like the second shot, but it doesn’t have enough of the colors that I really wanted that shot number one had. Photo three didn’t have enough explosion and I like photo four because of the long exposure effect, and the silouettes of the trees and people that were ahead of me. I look forward to future fireworks displays because of my sucess with these shots. Another photo in this realm that I would like to capture would be lightning strikes, slightly more dangerous, but proportionally more rewarding. Thats all for now, enjoy.
